Defensive Pistol II is an 8 hour course designed to take the defensive minded shooter to the next level of readiness. Our experienced instructors will be working with you in the classroom and on the range. Not only will they put your current skill set to the test, they will teach you new tactics and techniques not covered in Defensive Pistol I.

To participate in this course, the shooter must have completed Defensive Pistol I. Shooters will be expected to be proficient with the operation of their firearm, reloading techniques, malfunction drills & shooting positions. If you have not taken Defensive Pistol 1, but feel you are prepared to take Defensive Pistol 2 based on prior training, please contact David Salthouse, our Director of Training, at to set up an evaluation with an Instructor.

This is an 8 hour course

  • Cover & Concealment
  • Drawing from Concealment
  • Fighting to Cover
  • Challenging a Threat
  • Engaging Multiple Targets
  • Shooting While Moving

Equipment List:

  • Pistol or Revolver
  • 3 magazines or speed loaders
  • A Sturdy strong side holster (must be able to work with one hand)
  • A sturdy Belt
  • Some form of concealment garment
  • Magazine pouch (a dual mag pouch is recommended but not required)
  • Minimum 500 rounds of approved pistol ammo
  • Eye & Ear protection
  • Legal Pistol Permit from any state or LEO Credentials.
  • Pen & Paper
  • A baseball hat is recommended to keep brass from hitting your face, but not required.

  2. Calling us and leave a deposit over the phone
  3. Or you can register online
